Three PhD Research Associates: 1). peptide nanotechnology and nano-robotics; 2) bio-inspired autonomous underwater vehicles; 3) control theory and bio-mathematics.
Three Post-doctoral Research Associates: 1). peptide-based semiconductor medical devices; 2) control theory and mathematical modeling.
We welcome applicants with diverse background in engineering, biomechanics, biology, mathematics, and bio-physics. We are particularly interested in applicants having long-term research interests in bio-inspired materials, devices and robotics, nano bio-mechanics, and nanobiotechnology. We employ a nano-scale science and engineering approach (both experimental and theoretical) to study fundamental biological problems, and provide bio-inspiration for engineering innovation.
